I want you all to look at the chart below, this has the 'normal, standard' MACD settings.

Notice how the histogram bars go from positive to negative quite frequently.

Even in cases where the EUR/USD is trending nicely (the red lines) the histogram moves back and forth from negative to positive.

Now let's look at the same chart with my custom MACD settings.

Notice how now the histogram bars stay negative or positive and hold the trend for the duration.

The custom settings for the MACD are as follows:
